The Happy Camper Classroom presents an inspirational platform for teachers, aspiring, and veteran, to transform their classroom, students, and themselves: One that captures both the feeling and whole-hearted engagement many associate with summer camp: Uplifting: Teaching toward kumbaya!

 

As you know, teaching today is not like anything you may remember from years ago; it's a "first responder" profession; intense, complex, and requires a new framework highlighting personal resilience at the core. The Happy Camper Classroom provides resources, strategies, and various techniques shared through stories and real experiences in support of the four most important elements of the modern teacher tool-kit:

Most notably, The Happy Camper Classroom encourages educators to take control of their classrooms as well as one's personal space within; shifting from a reactionary self to a more reflective, responsive, and compassionate resilient self.  It's time for the next best practice to be something we truly believe in:  Ourselves.  This book was written for you!
